Salary: NJC Grade F: £35,412 - £39,152 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked) 

Please note that the pro-rata salary for this role is between £26,319 (F24) and £29,099 (F28) gross per annum (subject to change depending on agreed working pattern on appointment) 

Working Pattern: This is a fixed term maternity cover position working 27.5  hours per week, 52 weeks per year until September 2027 

The Harbour Schools Partnership are seeking a People Compliance Officer to join our central People Services team.

About the Role

The People Compliance Officer works as part of the People Team under the direction of the People Services Lead and is responsible for managing a small administrative team to support in compliance processes.

The role ensures a compliant approach to all aspects of HR administration including recruitment, contracts of employment, statutory training and Keeping Children Safe in Education.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who can bring experience and knowledge to the role.  

Essential qualities include: 

  • Experience of allocation of tasks and managing people in a HR setting
  • Understanding of the Trust Strategy, particularly in relation to recruitment and other people processes
  • Excellent and timely communication to all levels of staff in the Trust

Desirable (but not essential): 

  • Knowledge of line management processes including probation, capability, wellbeing
  • Educated to degree level – preferable in a HR or business setting
  • Understanding of EVP in People processes
